Day 1: Arrive Hanoi
On arrival, pick up and transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Hanoi

Day 2: Hanoi half day sightseeing (B)
After breakfast, enjoy the Hanoi City Tour. The city tour brings you to visit both the old & new quarters. Some highlights are as follow: Ho Chi Minh Museum & Mausoleum, which tells the life story of the great leader, as well as serves as his final resting place. One Pillar Pagoda, one of the oldest architectures dated back from the 11th century. Continue the city tour with the Temple of Literature- the first university in Vietnam, Hoan Kiem Lake with Ngoc Son temple.

Afternoon, free at leisure. Overnight in Hanoi.

Remark: Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is closed on Monday, Friday and the whole month of Oct and Nov.

Day 3: Hanoi – Ninh Binh biking (B)
Drive to Ninh Binh after breakfast. On arrival we will visit to Hoa Lu, the former capital of Vietnam, dating back from 9th century. After visiting to temples and relics we set off a one-hour beautiful cycling through an amazing area of Limestone Mountains and rice fields.

Lunch in Tam Coc before cycling shortly to Thung Nang, a newly discovered Ha Long Bay on the rice field (or Dry Halong Bay) which is not very far away from the old one. We will have 2 hour boat trip to a beautifully untouched area of water and limestone mountains. Overnight in Ninh Binh

Day 4: Ninh Binh – Halong ( B/L)
Drive to Halong in the morning via Thai Binh and Hai Phong city. On arrival, enjoy a leisurely cruise on the magnificently beautiful Halong Bay, which is dotted with over 300 islands and cave s rising from clear, emerald waters of the Gulf of Tonkin.

During the 4 hours cruise you will be marveled by thousands of grottoes of all shapes and sizes. Explore the “ Bay of Dragon” with its most typical highlights: Heavenly palace & Wooden stakes caves. Seafood lunch on board. After 5 hour cruising and relaxing on the bay, we check in hotel and free at leisure.Overnight in Halong

Day 5: Halong – Hanoi – Night train ( SE1 at 19:00) to Hue (B)
Morning is free at leisure in Halong city. Afternoon drive back Hanoi and take a night train departure at 19:00 to Hue. Overnight on train.

Day 6: Hue sightseeing – Hoian ( B)
Pick up at Hue railway station and have breakfast at local restaurant and then transfer to visit Imperial Citadel and Khai Dinh tomb. Afternoon, visit Thien Mu pagoda and go to Hoian with driver.On arrival, check in hotel and free at leisure

Day 7: Hoian free at leisure - night train (SE3 at 13:00) to HCMC (B)
Morning is free at leisure in Hoian for your own discovery. At 11h30, pick up and transfer back Danang railway station for a night train to HCMC. Overnight on train

Day 8: Arrive Saigon – Mekong home stay (B/L/D)
Upon arrival, pick up and have a breakfast at local restaurant and then drive for 3 hours before we reach Cai Be and enjoy a boat trip along the river and narrow waterways, overhung with dense vegetation and see the Cai Be Floating market. We will have the opportunity to try exotic fruits in one of the many orchards. Local delicacies will be served for lunch.

After lunch, we continue on the river through small canal before reaching the local house for our home stay. The facilities are simple but you’re given the real chance to explore the real life of Mekong Delta water region, at the same enjoy the fresh environment and local delicacies. Overnight at home stay

Day 9: Mekong – Saigon (B)
Morning at leisure to explore more about the local lifes of Melkong Delta region. Then we say goodbye to our hosts and continue to cruise back to Vinh Long. Take drive back to Saigon. The rest of day if free at leisure of own discovery. Overnight in Saigon.

Day 10: Saigon departure (B)
Transfer back airport for departure flight
