Day 1- Daintree
Departing Cairns visit Daintree Village, Daintree River, rainforest, Mt Molloy, Palmer River
Overnight at Lakeland Downs
Day 2- Coen River
Traveling north on the inland route to the top. Laura Aboriginal Quinkan Cave art, Haunt River, Musgrave Telegraph Station and onto the township of Coen. A little bit of walking today.

Day 3- Weipa
Passing through cattle stations, Archer River, Piccaninni Plains, Sudley Station to Weipa on the Gulf of Carpentaria. Port home of the Bauxite Mine where we take a visit.

Today we visit an Aboriginal community at Old Mapoon were we spend the day fishing.

Passing through more large cattle stations, Sudley Station, Batavia, Old Moreton Telegraph Station on the Wenlock River.

Day 6- Billy Landing
Cross to the east coast of Cape York through remote landscapes to beautiful headland of Capt. Billy Landing (weather permitting)

Day 7- Jardine River
Traveling north to the waterfalls for a swim.

We cross the Jardine River via the Ferry, visit the 5 Aboriginal Communities, Historical sites, and tonight camp at the beach.

Our highlight today is the fast ferry to Thursday Island, the trade capital of the Torres Strait, bus tour, shopping ect

Visit the “tip” of Australia today, delightful scenery of Frangipani Bay and the Torres Strait Islands, wonderful rainforest.

Traveling south through Cockatoo River and Heathlands National Park and down to the old Moreton Telegraph Station

Moving south we run through large cattle stations

Travel to Cooktown to visit James Cook Museum, Grassy Hill, Botanical Gardens, Cemetery, Endeavour River.

On our return we visit Lion’s Den Historical Hotel, Palmer River Roadhouse, and return to Cairns
