Get ready for an adventure of epic proportions, from San Diego to the deserts of south-western America and the depths of the Grand Canyon. Take a tour with a Navajo Indian, saddle up and ride out with a Utah cowboy and gear up for the fun and excitement of Las Vegas. This super journey combines bustling city streets with vast, open American landscapes for a family trip that will entertain and educate parents and kids alike.
meals included: 14 Breakfasts, 1 Dinner & the kitty covers some breakfasts & dinners while camping on this trip. The kitty is an optional payment of US$50 per week of your trip and is used to pay for some group meals.

Days 1-2 Los Angeles
The second largest city in the United States, Los Angeles is flush with dreams of cinema and stardom. Perhaps choose to take an optional trip to Disneyland.
Days 3-4 San Diego
Choose to meet the inhabitants of the San Diego Zoo.
Day 5 Joshua Tree National Park
Travel between massive boulders and palm oases in the Joshua Tree National Park. Spy the distinctive Joshua trees, made famous by U2's album of the same name.
Day 6 Lake Havasu
Fed by the Colorado River and over 70 km long, Lake Havasu is a water-lover's paradise. Make sure to spy out London Bridge - a little slice of England in the heart of America.
Days 7-8 Grand Canyon
Take plenty of photos as the light subtly changes the look of the canyon, take a short hike in the area or perhaps even sign up for a fantastic helicopter joy ride.
Day 9 Monument Valley
Take a Navajo-guided jeep tour through Monument Valley and see the freestanding rock formations that have formed the backdrop to scores of Western movies and made this area so famous.
Days 10-11 Ranch Camp
Get a taste of the wild west with an optional horseback-riding trip with a real cowboy.
Day 12 Bryce Canyon National Park
Explore the Bryce Canyon National Park and meander through its colourful rock pillars that are known as 'hoodoos'.
Days 13-14 Las Vegas
Discover scenic walking trails past sculpted rock formations and waterfalls at Zion National Park. Then it's on to the bright lights and excitement of Las Vegas.
Day 15 Los Angeles
Stay an extra few days to discover more of Los Angeles.
