Accommodating up to 26 guests, Spirit of Freedom has 11 spacious air-conditioned cabins all with private bathroom. A range of cabin types is available and the three premium cabin types contain TV/ DVD and CD player.

The Reef Flight Your trip will include a 120 mile one way low level flight from Lizard Island back to Cairns. Flying low over the Great Barrier Reef …. a spectacular way to end your dive cruise!
Monday:
The Spirit of Freedom courtesy bus will pick you up from your Cairns hotel around 11:00am to transfer you to Trinity Wharf, where you will board the vessel. The Spirit of Freedom crew will greet you and give you an orientation of the vessel before a 12 noon departure. Enjoy a lunch on board while we cruise to the outer Great Barrier Reef for an afternoon orientation dive and a twilight or night dive. After dinner we cruise north to the Ribbon Reefs.
Tuesday:
This morning we arrive at Number 5 Ribbon Reef and dive the Permission Bommie and the Clam Gardens, where you will be amazed at the size and abundance of giant clams. In the afternoon we drift dive at ‘High Five’, and in the evening we dive the beautiful Gorgie’s Wall. Late tonight we cruise north to the top of the Ribbon Reefs.
Wednesday:
This morning we will dive the monolith at Challenger Bay and the Cod Hole. The Cod Hole is a popular dive site for it’s resident family of large Potato Cod, (Groper). We may also drift dive at Dynamite Pass, well know as a channel between reefs for sharks to pass. On our way towards Lizard Island we dive the famous Snake Pit, where you will be amazed at the abundance of Olive Sea Snakes. This evening we overnight at Watson’s Bay on Lizard Island and enjoy a BBQ dinner on the top deck.
Thursday:
This morning, after a leisurely breakfast, you have the opportunity to go ashore and explore Lizard Island. At 10:30am you will board a twin-engine light aircraft at Lizard Island for your low level flight over the reef back to Cairns. Arriving back at Cairns airport at approximately 11:30am, the Spirit of Freedom courtesy coach will meet you for your transfer back to your Cairns city hotel.

Child Policy:
A minimum age of 10 and full fare applies. All children must be accompanied by a parent at all times, including when diving or snorkelling. Spirit of Freedom does not supply child sized scuba equipment or wetsuits. Should gear be required, then the child must provide their own equipment. Diving in ill-fitting equipment is not allowed.
