Tandem Skydiving!
A TANDEM SKYDIVE is the fastest, easiest and SAFEST way to experience the thrill and exhilaration of a freefall skydive. Attached to a TANDEM MASTER, who is an experienced instructor, via your own harness system, you will experience the amazing sensations that accompany freefall without the responsibility of opening your own parachute.
After you become a member of the AUSTRALIAN PARACHUTE FEDERATION, and all the forms to be completed prior to a skydive, all it takes is approximately 15 minutes instruction.
Your instructor puts your special harness on you, then make your way out to the airplane where you practice the exit technique. Climb aboard, fly to 10,000 feet (almost 3 kilometres), connect together, climb outside the plane, and SKYDIVE.
Freefall lasts between 35 to 40 seconds, reaching speeds of around 200 km per hour before the instructor pulls the ripcord to open the parachute. Once the parachute is open, you are encouraged to assist the instructor in flying, or you can take photos of the beautiful Coffs Harbour coastline, if you brought your camera. The parachute ride lasts for up to 8 minutes. The view is magnificent, the sensation is quiet and gentle as we float down together under our beautiful parachute, specially built for 2, before landing at the drop zone.
A CERTIFICATE of achievement is awarded to you on successful completing the greatest adrenalin sport known to man.
