2 - 6 hour horseriding adventures in Glenworth Valley, NSW - 1.5 hours drive from Sydney - Offering horse riding trails to suit all levels from novice to experienced.
Guided Trail Rides:
2 hours - AU$75 (helmet hire available on the day AU$5)
Free Range Horse Riding is available for experienced riders who feel confident with their horse and who wish to explore the valley at their own pace. All riders are given instruction on control and management of the horse before leaving the yards to ride wherever they like without a guide. In order to go free range riding we like you to have ridden at least 50 times however the final decision regarding rider experience and ability for free range riding will be made by the yard manager.
Overnight Rides include a 2 hour guided or free range ride, camping overnight and another 2 hour guided or free range ride the following day. We look after the horse for you over night so all you have to do is bring your own food, bedding and camping equipment (or hire one of our tents). Overnight rides are available every day.
2 Day Ride - from AU$140
Paddle and Saddle Trips departing Glenworth Valley offer paddlers the opportunity to explore the unspoilt wilderness of Popran Creek as it meanders its way through Glenworth Valley. As we glide down Popran Creek you can choose to either explore the peaceful upper reaches of Mangrove Creek or head down stream onto the magnificent Hawkesbury River system.
2 - 3 hour kayaking trip & 2 hour horse ride from AU$130 (You can either go kayaking in the morning and horse riding in the afternoon or do one activity each day)
What to wear and bring: We recommend loose fitting pants. Footwear should ideally be boots or shoes with a flat sole and small heal. Flat soled sandshoes are O.K. Depending on the weather we suggest clients bring sunscreen, insect repellent & brimmed hat.
Rider restrictions - As a guide we have a maximum weight limit of 120kgs for horse riders however this is subject to variation on a daily basis due to the availability of suitable horses. Our minimum trail ride age is 7 years old. Lead ponies are available for children aged 3 to 6.
